Rooted in Connection, Growth, and Community Wellbeing - Strategy 2025-28
The future we’re building starts today. Head of Service for Wellbeing Gail shares what excites her most…
As we launch CoLab’s new strategy, we’re reminded of the values that underpin our work at Wellbeing Exeter—especially the importance of nurturing wellbeing in every aspect of our community engagement. The New Economics Foundation’s Five Ways to Wellbeing—Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning, and Give—continue to guide us in creating environments where individuals and communities can thrive.
These five actions are more than personal wellbeing tools; they are catalysts for collective change. When we connect across boundaries, sectors, and perspectives, we unlock new possibilities. When we stay active and engaged, we build resilience. When we take notice, we deepen our understanding. When we keep learning, we grow together. And when we give, we strengthen the social fabric that holds us all.
CoLab’s new strategy reflects these principles. It’s a call to action—to collaborate more deeply, to innovate with purpose, and to build a future where wellbeing is not just an outcome, but a way of working. By aligning our strategic direction with the 5 Ways to Wellbeing, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering inclusive, compassionate, and connected communities.
