Exeter’s BIGGEST EVER Community Mental Health Day

On Monday 1st June 2026, we’re going to run Exeter’s BIGGEST EVER Community Mental Health Day at the Corn Exchange.

The hall at the Corn Exchange will be full of organisations who can offer support to individuals who aren’t feeling that great for any number of reasons. These organisations will be there to showcase what they do and how that can help you.

As most of us can appreciate, when our mental health deteriorates, the source of that sadness can be caused by many factors in our lives. It might be your physical health is affecting your mood. It may be money matters are getting you down. A relationship breakdown may be the cause of your stress. Your job may not be going that well right now, or you may be feeling lonely and not sure what to do about it.

Any one of these factors will be contributing towards your mental health deterioration, so the question we want to help you answer is this… “what is going on for you right now?”

Who is it for?

·      If you’re already seeking support for your mental health, it’s for you.

·      If you’ve not spoken to a professional about your mental health, it’s for you.

·      If you’ve never spoken to anyone about your mental health, it’s for you too.

·      If someone you love needs support, you can come on their behalf.

The room will be full of voluntary organisations, charities and statutory services who want to offer the help and support you may need.

Our aim on the day is to showcase what else is on offer to you other than visiting a hospital or your GP surgery.

Often, we’re not sure where else to turn when things get hard. With our room full of very willing and able organisations, we truly hope there will be at least one organisation who can help you and the ones you love.
