Vacancy - Collective Impact Officer

We are delighted to have been awarded National Lottery Community Fund funding for a 3 year 'Doing What Matters Most' initiative. This programme of work is about investing in the infrastructure that enables the collaborative community to achieve and demonstrate collective impact in two areas:

The general infrastructure which supports and enables the development of multi agency complex needs work in the hub, and gathers evidence to demonstrate collective impact.

The specific infrastructure which develops the support offer and gathers evidence to influence system change in 3 priority areas:

1. Gender Matters - Transforming outcomes for women in crisis and recovery
2. Learning Matters - Improving opportunities for people to learn and transform
3. Mental Health Matters - Improving the community response to mental illness.

We Are Recruiting

The Collective Impact Officer is a new role that will be integral in both the Doing What Matters Most and CoLab teams. Building on existing success, skills and knowledge you will help ensure evidence of impact is at the heart of the development of the Doing What Matters Most project and the future of CoLab.

We are looking for someone who is confident in working with qualitative and quantitative data and has experience of conducting research, preferably participatory research in complex and/or community settings. Someone who will be able to bring ideas and expertise to the conversation about evaluating impact, and be credible and helpful in guiding the team.

The post holder will co-design, develop and project manage the implementation of a new Collective Impact Framework. This will involve working with the senior leadership team and wider stakeholders to:

  • Develop a framework and toolkit to measure impact
  • Identify shared outcome goals and tools to meaningfully capture individual and community responses to current support offers
  • Identify creative, inclusive ways of sharing and representing work in local, community, and system conversations.
