Are you ready to make a big difference in women’s lives?

CoLab Exeter Resilient Women Programme is recruiting 2 Exeter-based Assertive Outreach Support Workers to join its new SPARK Project providing cover at evenings and weekends.

Many women in Exeter report having experienced higher levels of adversity following the COVID19 pandemic, with women reporting that they need accessible support during the evenings and weekends.

CoLab Exeter Resilient Women is a trauma responsive provision that supports women to build their capacity for change and aspirations for their future. This model enables women to overcome barriers, including isolation, exploitation and poverty.   We work to support women with a range of complex needs including homelessness, domestic and sexual violence and abuse, and lack of access to services.

The SPARK Project, funded through the Tampon Tax Fund, is a new initiative working with women facing multiple disadvantages as part of the Peninsula Women’s Alliance across Devon & Cornwall.

The Spark Project Team will be working ‘out of hours’ during evenings and weekends on a rota basis developing relationships, offering brief interventions and navigating into local women’s services.
